Graduate Programs Tuition and Costs

Syracuse University tuition for graduate programs is charged by the credit hour. The graduate tuition rate is set by the Syracuse University Board of Trustees for each academic year (announced in May and applicable in August), and typically increases 3-5% year by year.

The 2024-2025 cost per credit for School of Education programs is $1,945 per credit.

Students may be subject to additional fees, including the Health and Wellness Fee, Activity Fee, and/or Student Health Insurance. Students are also responsible for their own housing, meals, parking, books, and other supply costs.

Tuition costs for School of Education programs can be estimated using the current cost per credit, an estimated 3-5% tuition cost increase each year, and the number of credits required for each graduate program.
