School of Education Scholarships

The School of Education offers several competitive scholarships. These scholarships are specific to the School of Education and vary in number of tuition credits and monetary awards.  Approximately 15% of School of Education students will receive one of these scholarships.

For individuals not yet matriculated at SU:  Your application for admission to a program of study will also be used as the application for scholarship support, if you check the box on the application for admission indicating that you wish to be considered for a School of Education tuition scholarship.  You will receive an electronic confirmation that your request has been received.  If you are applying for admission to a department that has special scholarship application requirements (such as, an essay), you will be informed of the additional information you must submit to be considered for an award.  To be considered for any award, your application for admission must be received by January 15th.

For continuing students:  The process requires that you submit an application explicitly for a scholarship.  This application requires a current personal statement; three current letters of support; a resume; and a description of what support has been received to-date.  Applications for scholarships are available online here on the School of Education Website; they must be submitted online by January 15th.
