Bachelor’s Degree. We recommend applicants have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better. However, in reviewing applications, all elements are carefully considered.
Applicants must hold—or be on track to complete before beginning the program—a valid New York State initial teaching certificate in any content area. Review our teacher education pre-requisites to see if you meet requirements.

A personal essay (500 words) describing your beliefs about student learning, commitment to educational access for all, enthusiasm for learning, willingness to foster collaboration, and ethics.
3 letters of recommendation, at least one from a faculty member.
A résumé or CV.
GRE not required.
