Harvey Peters, doctoral candidate in Counseling and Counselor Education, was awarded the North Atlantic Region Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (NARACES) Outstanding Graduate Student Award on September 29, 2018. This award recognizes a student in the last year of their graduate study, who has excelled in their program through academic excellence, participation in professional organizations, engagement in research activities, and scholarly contributions. Harvey is currently completing a dissertation study using grounded theory to investigate counselor education leaders’ socially just and culturally competent leadership practices.
