Our Ph.D. and Ed.D. programs prepare graduates to be distinguished scholars in their fields through hands-on experience in research and field work through apprenticeships, practica, internships, grant projects, study abroad opportunities, and more.
Students explore and gain skills in quantitative, qualitative, and other research methods, choosing their specialty and developing their research agenda. They are guided by world-class faculty—and backed by the resources of an R1 research institution—through every step of their degree process, and they go on to work at some of the top research and policy institutions in the world.
