Admissions Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and cumulative undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0; Master’s degree in a teaching or school specialist field.
Official transcript of all undergraduate and graduate study.
Minimum of 3 years teaching or school specialist experience.
3 letters of recommendation that speak to the applicant’s professional, leadership, and academic qualifications. One should be from a current supervisor.
Personal essay demonstrating candidates’ beliefs about beliefs about diversity, equity and inclusion, enthusiasm for learning, and evidence of teacher leadership.
Resume or CV.
Applicants with strong applications will be contacted for an admissions interview.

Rising Diverse Leaders Scholarship: scholarship awards available to encourage educators with diverse identities to pursue leadership studies. Amounts vary per semester; contact admissions for more information.
Future Leaders Scholarship: Starting in fall 2024, students can receive a savings of up to 66% off university tuition rates, no separate application required. Scholarship amount determined on an individual basis, depending on the number of credit hours required to earn the CAS.
