Eunae Han is an assistant professor in counseling and human services programs in the School of Education at Syracuse University. She was previously an assistant professor of counseling and special education at University of Texas at El Paso, and worked as a certified counselor in South Korea. She continues her clinical practice as an EMDR-trained counselor.

Han’s research interests include feminist approaches to counselor education, trauma-informed counseling and supervision, and researcher identity/research mentoring. Her work can be read in the International Journal for the Advancement of Counseling, Journal of Counseling and Development, Trauma Counseling and Resilience, Journal of Counselor Preparation and Supervision, and elsewhere.

Han serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Counseling and Development and Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development. She has earned an Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES) Grant Academy Fellowship and an Association for Assessment and Research in Counseling Emerging Leader: New Professional award.

Han holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision (2022) and an M.A. in Educational Measurement and Statistics (2021) from the University of Iowa and an M.A. in Educational Counseling (2015) and a B.A. in English Language Education (2012) from Seoul National University.
