Recent graduates ready for teaching. You have completed your bachelor’s degree, and you know teaching is your passion. The M.S. in Adolescent Education is your direct path: a focused, full-time, 13-month program that takes you from graduation to certification without detours.
Career changers and professionals returning to education. You have spent time in a career built on your subject-area expertise. You may have been a research scientist, journalist, communications specialist, analyst, engineer, or environmental professional. Now you want to teach. The M.S. in Adolescent Education is a graduate professional degree that simultaneously prepares you for New York State initial adolescence certification (grades 7-12) and fulfills one of the requirements toward professional certification.
