Experiential Learning Opportunities

Experiential learning—also called immersive or hands-on learning—is a critical element of our academic strategy and embedded into our classes and programs. SOE offers multiple types of experience, including clinical simulations, field experiences, lesson study, practicums, internships, and research opportunities.

Beyond the Syracuse campus, you can strengthen your knowledge and skills with study away and study abroad across the country and around the globe, while creating close personal and professional relationships.
