The School of Education partners with international colleges, universities, and other institutions around the world. These partnerships provide opportunities for collaboration on research and scholarly work, student and faculty exchange including through Syracuse Abroad, student mentoring across cultures and disciplines, and hosting international events, conferences, and workshops.
The School of Education hosted 18 teachers from 9 countries through the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program for International Teachers in Spring 2019. These teachers participated in classroom placements across Central New York, and collaborated as a professional learning community on inquiry projects to develop materials, workshops or other resources to meet an educational need in their home country.
