Dawn Johnson, Associate Professor of Higher Education in the Syracuse University School of Education, has been named a Senior Scholar Diplomate by the American College Personnel Association.
This honor comes as Johnson concludes her five-year term as an ACPA Senior Scholar, an award that goes to faculty members who advocate for integration of scholarship into the practice of student affairs.
ACPA’s Senior Scholars Program provides scholars in higher education with a continuing opportunity to promote scholarship through the presentation of programs of interest to the profession at each national convention and to serve the association on projects related to their fields of interest.
Diplomate status is conferred upon Senior Scholars who have fulfilled Scholar expectations and participated in at least four of five ACPA national convention meetings during their term.
