Investing in Tomorrow: Give to the School of Education

When you give to the School of Education, you are investing in a place that is inclusive and anti racist at its core, will prepare our students in digital pedagogies and practice, and believes that our students learn best through immersive experiences.

Only 80% of the cost of a Syracuse University education is covered by tuition and fees. Your support directly creates opportunities more for all students.

More Ways to Support the SOE

The Dean’s Fund for Education

Donations to the Dean’s Fund of Education provides the flexibility to fund needs across the entire school, enabling us to direct funds wherever they are most urgently needed. These are often used to support meaningful experiences for students, pilot new programs and opportunities, and fill gaps in funding.

The Dean’s Fund also helps us with rankings, helping us recruit the best future students, and inspire the next generation of philanthropists with our strong record of alumni and family giving.

Student Emergency Fund

The School of Education Student Emergency Fund can support any SOE student with emergency needs or expenses – food and housing, supplies for classes, clothing for field and other professional experiences, and more.

The Hill Society

The Hill Society is a dedicated network of leadership annual donors who share a common goal of supporting Syracuse University’s highest priorities. As a member, you will receive updates on how your
contributions directly impact students and faculty, along with the latest news about the areas of the University you love most.

Exclusive regional and on-campus events allow members to engage with each other and University leadership, creating connections and opportunities to work together to advance Syracuse University’s
mission and shape its future. Join the Hill Society with annual gifts/pledges of $2,500 and up.

Making a Lasting Difference

The School of Education makes a lasting impact on the world through our alumni: teachers, researchers, counselors, leaders, and educators of all kinds, with the mission to solve the world’s problems. You can make a difference by supporting generations of our students to come in many ways.

Establish an Endowed Scholarship or Fund
When you establish an endowed scholarship or support fund for a specific area, the fund will give current students financial support today and decades to come. Endowed funds last in perpetuity for as long as our University remains in existence. You can make a life-changing gift to support promising students by establishing an endowed fund in your name, or in honor of a family member, mentor, or friend.

Create an Endowed Professorship
Investing in our faculty helps them invest in producing scholarly works and research that changes society and inspires the next generation of leaders in their field. By supporting Faculty Excellence, you strengthen the University’s position and prestige in competing for grants and attracting the best and brightest minds.

Name a Space in Huntington Hall
Investing in our facilities ensures our faculty and students have the best infrastructure to learn and develop. Having our facilities equipped to provide the latest in digital pedagogy is a key priority for the School of Education.

Transformational Giving
How can you truly transform education at SU and beyond? This for those interested in game-changing opportunities like naming an academic program, a building, or the entire school.

Other Opportunities

Friends and alumni who would like to support specific projects, programs, departments, research, or populations can contact us to discuss existing funds, or opportunities to create new funding sources. You can also contact us to discuss more giving methods or if you have any questions.
