SOE Advisory Committees help support, advise, and promote our signature programs, units, centers or other components of our core work. Many, but not all, committee members are members of the SOE Advisory Board.

The Center for Experiential Pedagogy and Practice (CEPP) engages faculty and students in basic and applied research and design initiatives across Syracuse University and beyond to advance experiential teaching, learning, and professional development for educators, counselors, school leaders, and others. The Center’s founding principle is that immersive experiences advance learners’ preparation for complex professions. This center is home to SOE’s innovative work in Clinical Simulations, among other programs.

The School of Education offers many signature programs to study abroad for 1-6 weeks over winter, spring, and summer breaks, led by SOE and associated faculty and closely align with the goals and curriculum of our programs. SOE also offers scholarships and support for qualified students interested in both full semesters and short-term trips through the Corinne R. Smith Study Abroad Program Fund.
Study away programs allow students to live, learn, and work in other parts of the United States, including our Bridge to the City program.
