Advisory Committees

SOE Advisory Committees help support, advise, and promote our signature programs, units, centers or other components of our core work. Many, but not all, committee members are members of the SOE Advisory Board.

Center for Academic Achievement and Student Development (CAASD) Advisory Committee

The Center for Academic Achievement and Student Development (CAASD) houses seven academic opportunity programs that serve underrepresented students in every Syracuse University school and college, as well as students in local K-12 public schools:

Study Abroad and Study Away Advisory Committees

The School of Education offers many signature programs to study abroad for 1-6 weeks over winter, spring, and summer breaks, led by SOE and associated faculty and closely align with the goals and curriculum of our programs. SOE also offers scholarships and support for qualified students interested in both full semesters and short-term trips through the Corinne R. Smith Study Abroad Program Fund.

Study away programs allow students to live, learn, and work in other parts of the United States, including our Bridge to the City program.

In you are interested please complete either the Study Abroad Advisory Committee form, and/or the Study Away Advisory Committee form.
