First Destination Survey

NACE’s First-Destination Survey (FDS) captures information regarding how new college graduates fare in their careers within six months of graduation.

This annual initiative provides clear, concise, and consistent data on the outcomes associated with a college education on a national scale. In addition to providing outcomes for individual classes, FDS is designed to provide data and highlight trends over time to inform the discussion around the value of higher education.

SOE graduates should anticipate completing this three-minute FDS survey on Handshake.

Credential File Service

A credential file contains letters of recommendation that can be sent to potential employers and graduate schools. There is a $35 registration fee, which covers the first three mailings or the first six emailed files. Additional mailings can be done for a fee.

Once you’ve established a file, it remains active for the duration of your career life; updated letters can be added at any time. For more details and to set up your credential file, please refer to the Credential File Application (.pdf).
