Her thesis, "Censorship in US Schools: How to Teach Banned Children’s Books," also won Best Thesis in the Professional category. This marks the second year in a row that an SOE-affiliated student has won the Orlin prize, after disability studies minor Alexis Wilner ’24 won last year for her thesis "Creating A More Inclusive Industry: A Guide to Supporting Disabled Theatre Artists in Production Disciplines."
The June EdExchange newsletter is here! This month we celebrated some incredible teachers and staff, graduating students and their prestigious awards, and alumni doing big things.
Michael Grace G’25 is #ProudToBeSOE - and now, he’s drafted!
Michael is one of four Syracuse Men's Lacrosse players selected in the Premier Lacrosse League draft on May 6. Before coming to Syracuse, he helped lead RIT to two Division III National Championships as a defense/longstick midfielder.
Now playing for the New York Atlas, Michael joins fellow Intercollegiate Athletic Advising and Support CAS alum Jake Stevens G’24 on the field.
