Two doctoral students in Syracuse University School of Education’s Counseling and Counselor Education program have been recognized by the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES).

First year doctoral student Xihe Tian and second year student Eunji Park are among 20 ACES graduate student members receiving a 2024 Graduate Student Award Grant from the ACES Research Grants Committee and Graduate Student Representative Committee. Each will receive a $1,000 stipend toward their studies and research.

“This is a highly competitive award in the counseling profession. This year, ACES received 129 applications,” says Yanhong Liu, Associate Professor in Counseling and Counselor Education.
