State of the Art Conference on Postsecondary Education and Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities

November 15 to November 16
Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel and Conference Center

State of the Art Conference

The State of the Art Conference provides opportunities for colleges and universities, researchers, program staff, parents and self-advocates to learn about the current state of research and practice in the field, and to network with each other. Panels that include faculty and staff from postsecondary education initiatives, parents, self-advocates, and other experts, share effective practices during break-out sessions with opportunities for group discussion. Join educators, administrators and families to exchange resources and best practices for developing successful programs, research, advocacy and more!

New this year is the parallel Student Leadership Conference, for college and transitioning high school students to collaborate and share experiences including independent living, self representation and campus life.
