Exercise Prescription Laboratory

inside of the exercise prescription labThe Exercise Prescription Lab (ExRx) is a 600 square foot research space dedicated to examining the effects of acute and chronic exercise across healthy, chronic disease, and substance using individuals. The ExRx lab has the equipment and instrumentation capabilities to perform acute and chronic resistance exercise protocols and collect blood and urine samples to examine endocrine, metabolic and cytokine responses to exercise. The lab also has bench top analytical space with full capabilities to process samples for storage, further analysis or shipment.
