CFE Colloquia: “Whose Action is Affirmative? College Admissions in a Changing Environment” with Kal Alston

Kal Alston is professor in the department of Cultural Foundations of Education and associate dean for academic affairs in the School of Education. As a philosopher of education, her research and most recent publications focus on ethics and community responsibility, the connection of the Brown decision to contemporary educational experience, and popular culture/mass media and intersections of race, class, and gender.
