Sherrie joined SU in 2017 and teaches career counseling, counseling theory, and internship. Before joining SU, Sherrie was an adjunct instructor at Johnson University and taught as a graduate teaching associate at the University of Tennessee. She also worked as a counselor in residential, in-home, and school settings before beginning a career in academia. Sherrie’s primarily focuses on multicultural and diversity issues within Counselor Education, counseling competence with diverse populations, and addictions within her research.
