Fernanda Orsati is currently a Graduate Student in the Special/Inclusive Education Program at the School of Education in Syracuse University. She has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology from Brazil, where she is originally from. Fernanda has been studying communication through typing since 2006 and working with users and families since 2008. She also develops research and consulting for schools in inclusive practices and behavior support. Her interests include dynamic assessment, alternative and augmentative communication, self-advocacy, and critical pedagogy.
