Alumni Relations
School of Education Board of Visitors
The Board of Visitors are the School of Education’s (SOE) top alumni volunteers. The 24 members of the Board are accomplished, distinguished members of their communities and many of them are also graduates of the School of Education. As champions of education and ambassadors for the School, the 24 members meet twice a year as a full board and conference more often to discuss their committee assignments. The Board of Visitors are charged with:- Supporting the Dean in implementing his vision for the direction of the School
- Participating in fundraising for the School with personal commitments and assisting the Dean and the Office of Advancement in identifying other potential sources of support
- Representing the School to the larger community, including alumni, donors, University leadership and the general public.
