Why you should consider the School of Education at Syracuse University . . .

As a student at the School of Education, you are assured opportunities for research, clinical practice and internships designed to enhance the relationships between theory and practice.  You will have the opportunity to work in suburban and urban school districts beginning in your first year and become a part of a comprehensive research university rich with opportunities to study abroad and participate in the life and community of the City of Syracuse.

The School of Education pioneered the inclusion movement in the United States, making it possible for all learners to participate in typical classrooms.  The School of Education was also the first to offer an inclusive elementary and special education major.

We offer both teaching and non-teaching degree programs.  Our students have full access to faculty, professional and peer advisors.  We are a small school comprised of fewer than 600 undergraduate students.  Here you will have the opportunity to develop personal and professional relationships that will last a lifetime.
