Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
The Ph.D. degree is appropriate for students who have a strong commitment to academic pursuits and for those who are interested in conducting scholarly research. Minimum of 90 credit hours beyond the bachelor’s degree, 12 credits of research methodology, Preliminary and Qualifying examinations, Research apprenticeship culminating in a journal-quality scholarly report supervised by a faculty member, and Dissertation.
Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) -The Ed.D. degree is available through the Educational Leadership program.
