Reading & Language Arts

Department Overview

The Reading and Language Arts (RLA) Center has been at the forefront of literacy research nationally for more than 70 years.  The RLA Center offers 3 master’s programs: Literacy Education Birth through Grade 12; Teaching English Language Learners (TELL) PreK-12; and English Education 7-12.
