Counseling and Human Services Department

Doctoral students and faculty have developed a set of learning modules to help support students as they develop counseling skills during the practicum and internship experiences. Each module is self-contained. Each module begins with an introduction and a list of essential information that will be presented, we have also provided opportunities for you to apply the information from the module to professional practice. Each module also contains a list of additional resources that include links and suggested readings. One can select the topic(s) you are interested in from the list below. Point and click, and (hopefully) learn!

These modules are brought to you by: (Back row from left to right) Kevin Wilkerson, Doctoral Candidate; Allison Ray, Doctoral Student; Dr. Dennis Gilbride, CHS faculty member; Andrew Harris, Doctoral Student; Tamara Clingerman, Doctoral Candidate; and (front) Dr. Janna Scarborough, CHS Faculty member.
