Certificate of Advanced Study in School Counseling
The Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) allows students to complete the educational requirements for permanent school counselor certification in New York state. The CAS is appropriate both for students with a Master's in school counseling and for students who have a Master's in another specialty within counseling but wish to pursue N.Y. state certification as a school counselor.
