Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation
The Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation (IDD&E) Department at Syracuse University offers dynamic graduate programs preparing effective practitioners and respected researchers in the broad domain of instructional systems and educational technology. Master of Science in IDD&E
The Masters of Science in IDD&E provides students with the opportunity to choose a concentration in one of the following areas: design and development, interactive technology and distributed learning, and evaluation.

Master of Science in Instructional Technology (MSIT)
The Masters of Science in Instructional Technology (MSIT) is for teachers who have completed prior studies in one or more fields of PreK-12 education and who already hold or are eligible for a New York State Initial teaching certificate in those fields.

Certificate programs
The target group for these certificate programs consists of professional practitioners who have an interest in continuing professional education.

Certificate of Advanced Studies (C.A.S.)
The C.A.S. builds upon the master’s degree, preparing students for higher-level positions in education, industry, or academia.

PH.D.
Doctor of Philosophy students in IDD&E select one of two emphases in their Ph.D. programs: an Academic Research focus, or a Professional Studies focus.
